Welcome Wisconsin Christmas Tree Growers,
It was a pleasure to meet with some of you at the Winter convention in Wausau this past January. As a new member it was great to see such a strong turnout and the warm welcome that the new members received. During the initial Saturday presentation there was some discussion on the development or implementation of a website that would be used to join growers with retailers and transportation vendors all in one location. I found that very interesting because I have been developing just such a site.
Christmastreetown.com began with a simple goal- to connect growers, wholesalers, retailers and industry suppliers in one location. Through Christmastreetown.com members can communicate more effectively and become more proactive in there ongoing search for information by participating in the forums. Members are privy to the opportunity to openly discuss their problems and their passions, to express opinions on the equipment they are using, to share their good times and bad times, to answer questions and ultimately never work alone.
Christmastreetown.com is a website with FREE membership, available to those with an interest in the Christmas Tree growing industry. This is a new site and to be successful will need users to begin communicating and sharing information, actively posting in forums, browsing and posting to classifieds, and reading, writing or submitting articles. With your input and participation, Christmastreetown.com can become a valuable resource for all of us. Thank you for your participation.
